One useful clarification: whatever the method, the reading always rests on the same two markers — the tonality of each card and its planetary family. The layout changes; the grammar of the deck does not. 📍 A note on dates Sources differ slightly on the deck's modern history, and both are right about different things. Belline, who practised from the 1950s, came across the original cards and studied them; the deck was then produced and published by Grimaud in 1961 under the name that stuck.
