Enter your date, time and place of birth: find out where the Moon sits in your birth chart, and which part of your love life this Full Moon in Gemini lights up.
There are dozens of full moon rituals. This one keeps just one, devoted to love, and gives it to you in full: what you need, when to do it and what to do in the days after. In twenty-five minutes, you'll have put words to the love you want to live, and you'll have made room for it.
On the evening of Tuesday, November 24, 2026, the Moon is full in Gemini, the sign of words, while Venus moves through Libra, one of its home signs. So how do you turn that night into a real date with love?
When
Tuesday, November 24, 2026, in the evening. Exact Full Moon at 9:53 a.m. ET, moonrise at 4:15 p.m. (New York)
Time needed
About 25 minutes
What you need

The 4 elements

The key gesture
Write down the love you want to live, without naming anyone, and read it out loud
✦
The Full Moon is the moment the Moon faces the Sun and catches all its light. In tradition, it's the phase of fulfillment and clarity: what has been growing since the New Moon finally shows itself. For love, it's the ideal night to look honestly at what your heart is asking for, and to say it.
The November 24, 2026 Full Moon falls in Gemini, opposite the Sun in Sagittarius. Gemini, ruled by Mercury, is traditionally the sign of speech, writing and exchange: that's why this ritual is built around a letter. The same evening, Venus, the planet of love, is in Libra, one of its two home signs along with Taurus. Almanacs call it the Beaver Moon, and count it among the supermoons that close out the year.
A note on timing: the Full Moon is exact at 9:53 a.m. ET, in broad daylight. The ritual happens in the evening, once the Moon has risen. To plan the next ones, the lunar calendar lists every date, and our page on the Full Moon in astrology explains what each one stirs up.
✦
Nothing exotic: four simple objects, chosen for what they carry in tradition. Gather them before the evening.
Lit first · put out last · placed near the window
In the color correspondences used for rituals, pink stands for tender love, affection and self-love, where red speaks of passion. This flame opens and closes the ritual: it marks the start of a time set apart. A new candle that has never been lit is the usual practice; if you don't have one, a white candle works too.
Candle color correspondences: ritual practice guides (Good Omen, Pentagram Salem).
Set in front of the candle · held during the reading · kept afterward
Crystal healing has made it the stone of love: it links it to the heart and to Venus, and recommends it both for attracting love and for loving yourself. In this ritual, it receives your letter and then stays close to you as a reminder. If you already own one, perfect; our guide to stones that attract love also presents rhodonite, which can stand in for it.
Traditional use in crystal healing, presented as such.
A handful · laid in a circle around the candle and the stone
The rose has been the flower of Aphrodite, the Romans' Venus, since antiquity. Laid in a circle, its petals mark out the space of the ritual: what's inside is your request. Fresh petals from a single rose are enough, red or pink.
Pausanias, Description of Greece, 6.24.7: “The rose and the myrtle are sacred to Aphrodite.”
Handwritten · in the present tense · naming no one
This is the heart of the ritual. Under a Full Moon in Gemini, you don't make a vague wish: you write. You describe the love you want to live as if it were already here, focusing on what you feel rather than on who. Writing by hand slows your thoughts down and makes you choose your words.
“I welcome a love that feels like me, and I make room for it.”
Words to say at the end of the reading (step 5).
✦
Allow twenty-five minutes on the evening of November 24, once the Moon is up, ideally near a window. If the sky is cloudy, the ritual keeps its full meaning: the Moon is full whether you can see it or not.

1. Prepare your space. Clear the surface, switch off your phone, open the window for a moment to let fresh air in. Set the candle in the center, the rose quartz in front of it, then lay the petals in a circle around both. Three minutes.
2. Light the candle and breathe. Sit facing the flame, or the Moon if you can see it. Take three slow breaths, letting your shoulders drop each time you exhale. There's nothing to get right: you're simply here.
3. Give thanks for what you've already received. Before asking, name softly three things love has already brought you: a friendship, a memory, a lesson. In tradition, the Full Moon is also a time of gratitude.
4. Write your letter to love. Ten minutes, by hand, in the present tense. Describe what you want to feel in a relationship (trust, lightness, being chosen), how you want to be loved and how you want to love. Name no one: this ritual attracts love, it doesn't target a person.
5. Read it out loud. With the rose quartz in your left hand, read your letter slowly, without rushing. End with the words: “I welcome a love that feels like me, and I make room for it.” Notice what you feel as you say them, without judging it.
6. Entrust it to the quartz. Fold the letter in half, toward you, and place it under the rose quartz, in the center of the circle of petals. Keep one hand on your heart for a minute, while the flame flickers or settles.
7. Close with gratitude. Thank the Moon, out loud or silently, then put out the candle. Leave the letter, the stone and the petals in place until the next morning, without touching them. Never leave a lit candle unattended.
👉 Why name no one? Because a love that's right for you can't be forced: you open the door, the Universe does the rest.
✦
What to notice
In the days that follow, note the small signs: a conversation that runs longer, an urge to go out, a memory that comes back. The letter put things into words; your attention follows.
What not to force
Don't text an ex at midnight, and don't reread the letter ten times. The ritual has done its part; give it the time of the waning Moon.
Where to start
Take one concrete step within three days: accept an invitation, pick up a passion again, take care of yourself. Love likes to find the door open.
The next morning, return the petals to the earth (a flowerpot, a garden) and keep the folded letter in a drawer until the New Moon of December 8, 2026, the time to read it again. The rose quartz stays by your bed or on you; to restore its glow, the guide to charging your crystals explains how to do it at the next Full Moon. If you'd like to go further, full moon wishes fit into the same evening.
Over my years of practice, I've seen this ritual do something very simple: it makes you know what you want. And that's often where everything begins. The ritual doesn't do the work for you, it sets you on your way; what comes next is yours, and you're the one who chooses whom to open your door to.
👉 If a breakup still weighs on you, this ritual supports your heart; it doesn't replace a caring ear. Talk about it with people close to you.
✦
On Tuesday, November 24, 2026, in the evening. The Full Moon is exact at 9:53 a.m. ET and the Moon rises at 4:15 p.m. in New York: do the ritual after moonrise. The evening of the 25th still works if the 24th isn't possible, since the Moon looks full for several nights.
That's not its purpose. This ritual attracts a love that feels like you, without naming anyone, out of respect for everyone's free will. If someone in particular is on your mind, write what you'd like to experience with them, without demanding that they be the one.
Do the ritual anyway. The Moon is full whether clouds hide it or not; simply turn toward the part of the sky where it is, or toward the candle flame.
Yes, according to the almanacs, which count it among the supermoons at the end of the year: the Moon is then close to its nearest point to Earth. The ritual doesn't depend on it, but that night the Moon will be especially bright.
The module at the top of the page calculates where the Moon falls in your birth chart. To go further, the ascendant calculator completes the picture: it shows how you reach out to others.
