Baba Vanga was born in 1931, and she lost her sight at the age of 12 when a sandstorm burned her eyes. It was then that her gift became apparent. In 1941, she had her first great vision when the Nazi troops entered the village and a mysterious "luminous rider" revealed to her the names of those who would die or survive the attack.
Very quickly her reputation as a clairvoyant grew, so much so that high-ranking leaders come to consult her, such as Leonid Brejnev, the General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. When Baba Vanga talks about her gift, she assures that this information is communicated to her by the deceased. She died in 1996.

Vanga - The Bulgarian prophetess, was born on October 3, 1911. At the age of 15, Vanga lost her sight in a natural disaster on the land of Novo Selo, Strumica municipality. She studied at a school for the blind in Zemun, Serbia, where she learned the Braille alphabet for writing and reading. In April 1941, Vanga received the gift of clairvoyance. In 1994 she built the church "St. Petka Bulgarian" in the area of Rupite, Petrich municipality, Bulgaria. Vanga left us forever on August 11, 1996. In the people's memory she remains as a healer, martyr and saint.
