Why do our ears ring and feel hot?
Having what we call burning ears is a very popular expression that means people are saying bad things about us, and this expression does not come out of nowhere. The first allusions to burning ears go back even to antiquity. This expression comes from the belief that one could derive omens from whistling ears.
If it is your left ear that whistles or burns:
If the whistling comes from the side of the heart, therefore from the left side, it is because we are being spoken about in a good way. Someone is singing our praises, and telling people how much they love us; in short, our qualities are being evoked. It is also a sign that imminent danger may be coming, so be on your guard!
If it's the right ear that whistles or burns:
If these sensations occur in your right ear, then someone is in fact talking badly about you. Someone is probably criticizing you and saying insulting things behind your back. It may also in fact be a sign of jealousy too. So, don't worry too much about what people may say about you, they are probably fueled by this envy towards you.
What happens if you often experience this feeling?
