Yabamiah's message

"You think you have lost everything? Look again. What you take for ruins is already the material of what is coming. My work starts there: turning your past into a beginning."

"Do not fear what ends. I walk beside those who cross thresholds — grief, separation, departure — and I show them that behind every closed door, new material is waiting to be shaped. Call on me when you no longer know where to pick things up: I will give you back the taste for creating."

Who is the angel Yabamiah?

Yabamiah is the angel of inner alchemy. Where other angels comfort or protect, he transforms: he takes what is damaged, heavy and painful, and makes it fertile again. He is the angel of second departures, of career changes, of recoveries, and of the work you thought you would never be able to start.

The origin of the name Yabamiah

Yabamiah is the seventieth sacred name of the Shem HaMephorash — the 72 divine names drawn by the kabbalists from three verses of Exodus (XIV, 19-21). His Hebrew name יְבַמְיָה translates literally as "God who produces all things", and tradition gives him as his key the eternal fertility of God. He is unique among the 72: his calling verse is not taken from the Psalms but from the very first line of the Bible — "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." (Genesis 1:1).

His place in the angelic hierarchy

Yabamiah belongs to the choir of the Angels — the ninth and last choir, the closest to humankind, placed under the authority of the Sephira Yesod. These angels accompany a human being at every stage of life, from the first steps to the final threshold. He is placed in the care of the archangel Gabriel, messenger of the annunciation and guardian of births. Within that choir, Yabamiah stands between the angel Rahel, who gives back what was lost, and the angel Haiaiel, who grants the courage to act.

His spiritual mission

His mission comes down to one word: to regenerate. Yabamiah works on the very nature of hardship: a break-up becomes a turning point, an illness a lesson in patience, a failure know-how. He works slowly, the way water hollows out stone, and his action is rarely measured in the moment.

Tradition also entrusts him with a graver task: to accompany those who leave and those who stay. Yabamiah softens the fear of death, helps you sit with a loved one at the end of life, and reminds us that nothing in creation truly disappears. This is why his natives often discover an unexpected ability to be present in the moments other people avoid.

If Yabamiah is your protective angel, know that he is always watching over you, wherever you are. He may well decide to send you a message if he feels you need to hear it, by showing you a mirror hour. Pay attention 😉.

The qualities awakened by Yabamiah

Yabamiah's natives share one talent: they can make something out of what is broken. Here are the four qualities his influence develops.

♻️
Regeneration

You recover quickly, physically and emotionally. After exhaustion, failure or separation, your energy always comes back, often clearer than before.

🎨
Creativity

You have a taste for beauty and a sense of form. Artistic fields suit you, because you know how to give a shape to an intuition.

🌊
Sensitivity

You pick up atmospheres and unspoken things. That permeability, long experienced as a weakness, becomes your finest working instrument.

🕊️
Peace with endings

Thresholds frighten you less than they frighten others. You know how to stay beside those who are leaving and to find simple words.

Why call on the guardian angel Yabamiah?

Yabamiah is called upon when a page is turning — willingly or not. His role is to keep the situation from closing in on itself.

His help shows itself in a precise way: a few days after the invocation an idea comes back, the urge to make something returns, and the situation stops going round in circles.

You can call on Yabamiah if:

  • You are starting from scratch: after a break-up, a redundancy or a move, he helps you rebuild without disowning what came before.
  • A project is waiting to be born: he lifts the blocks of the starting line, that moment when you have the idea but not the nerve to begin.
  • You are going through grief: he eases the fear of death, yours and a loved one's, and makes presence simpler than words.
  • A habit is wearing you down: excess, neglect, dependency — he supports those who want to change their relationship to the body and to matter.

How to call on Yabamiah?

The ideal moment

Yabamiah listens most closely on his yearly regency days: 29 May, 10 August, 22 October, 3 January and 17 March. Within the day, he is most receptive between 11:00 pm and 11:20 pm. That late-evening slot suits him: it is the hour when the day is ending and you can already think about the one to come.

How to prepare

Choose a quiet place, switch off your screens and take a few minutes to breathe before you speak. If you can, burn sandalwood incense. You may hold an amethyst in your hand to strengthen the link. What matters most is sincerity.

Prayer for the angel Yabamiah 🕯️

To call on Yabamiah, say this prayer with sandalwood incense:

"Yabamiah, protector angel of all things! Make me the receiver of your word!

"Fill me, Lord, with your presence, so that when society calls me to action, it is your strength that acts, your voice that orders, your divine genius that builds, that constructs.

"Regenerate in me, Angel Yabamiah, all that does not comply with divine law, and keep me from thinking that my works are mine for, in fact, I created them all thanks to you.

"Allow, Lord, that circumstances may be positive for me, suitable for carrying out my plans and my desires, and place in front of me the right people for making things bear fruit, for bringing success to what, thanks to you, I wish to undertake.

"Amen!"

The associated verse — Genesis 1:1

Reciting this verse is an invocation in itself. Yabamiah is the only one of the 72 angels whose calling formula opens the Bible instead of being drawn from the Psalms — the sentence of the absolute beginning.

"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth."
