Vasariah's message
"I am not the angel who condemns, but the one who puts each thing back in its rightful place. When an injustice weighs on you or guilt gnaws at you, call on me: I will help you tell what truly belongs to you from what you carry by mistake."
"Remember that justice without love is only harshness. I teach you to be firm without being cruel, forgiving without being weak. Forgive yourself first: only then will you know how to forgive others."
✦ ✦ ✦
Vasariah is the guardian of inner fairness. Where other angels comfort or spur us on, he restores balance: between the head and the heart, between rigour and compassion, between what is owed and what can be forgiven.
Vasariah is the 32nd sacred name of the Shem HaMephorash — the 72 divine names drawn by the kabbalists from the three verses of Exodus (XIV, 19-21). His Hebrew name וְשָׁרְיָה literally translates as "Just God". Tradition also calls him the "Benefactor of God", because his justice always seeks to repair, never to avenge. The traditional call drawn from the Psalms is: "For the word of the Lord is right, and all his work is done in faithfulness" (Psalm 33, v.4).
Vasariah belongs to the choir of the Dominions — the angels who watch over the order of the world and the right measure of things, placed under the authority of the Sephirah Hesed, mercy. Their calling is to temper severity with kindness. His ruling archangel is Zadkiel, the prince of mercy, forgiveness and inner release.
Vasariah's mission is to make you just without making you hard. He helps you see beyond appearances, understand the circumstances that explain other people's behaviour, and decide with as much clarity as heart.
He acts especially on speech: memory, voice, the ease of expressing oneself. He is the angel you call upon before a difficult speech, a reconciliation or a decision that involves fairness. Under his wing, we stop judging too quickly and learn to truly listen.
If Vasariah is your protective angel, know that he always watches over you, wherever you are. He may even decide to send you a message when he feels you need to hear it, reaching out through a mirror hour. Stay attentive 😉.

Prayer for the angel Vasariah 🕯️
To invoke Vasariah, say this prayer with Benzoin and Myrrh incense:
"Angel Vasariah, grant me your forgiveness, your caution and your firmness. Forgive my mistakes. Prevent me from holding grudges and blaming others. Allow me to be just, kind and forgiving to those around me. Allow me to succeed in my life mission and in my plans, and keep your love always deep within me, so that I may learn in turn to become infinitely good, like you. Amen."
Reciting this verse is in itself an invocation. It carries the Hebrew letters of Vasariah's name according to kabbalistic tradition.
