Origins and history: The stone of Eros and Aphrodite

Since ancient times, rose quartz stone has been associated with love. It all began in Greek mythology, when this stone was said to have been born from the hands of Aphrodite. During a hunting party, Adonis, her lover, was attacked by a boar. Wanting to save him, Aphrodite intervened, but was stopped by bramble bushes. The goddess of love then found her beloved dead, and from her blood appeared the pink quartz stone.

Another legend tells us that Eros, god of love and creation, brought the rose quartz to Earth so that the men who possess it would advocate love and not hate. Later in Ancient Egypt, the pink quartz stone was exploited for its physical virtues, it allowed to fight against aging. It was thus offered at the time of the deaths, and one found some in the tombs of the noble families.

Today, this mineral is still used, both for its beautiful appearance and its properties, in industry, watchmaking, or jewelry.

There is a lot of jewelry made of rose quartz, especially necklaces. Placed near the heart, it acts directly at the level of the plexus!

How to purify and recharge this stone?

It is important that the owners of rose quartz think about cleaning and purifying it regularly. In order to do this, place it in a glass or earthenware container. The latter should be filled with distilled water, preferably salted. You can also put it under tap water for 10 minutes.

Concerning its recharging, it is necessary that it takes place inside a geode of amethyst. The morning sun or the light of the moon are also effective means, and easier to find 😉

Either way, avoid overexposure to the hot sun at all costs. This will make your rose quartz look dull and tarnished.

It’s important to know that: 💡

If by some misfortune your stone should lose its color, you can make it look good again by placing it in the shade as long as possible. Rosewater will also give it a good dose of freshness.

2026 Retrograde Planets: Dates, Meaning and Effects

Mercury goes retrograde, and suddenly your phone crashes, your ex sends you a message, and your train is canceled... Coincidence? Not quite 😅. Retrograde planets have this reputation for turning everything upside down, but is it really justified? Spoiler: not always. In 2026, several retrograde periods will punctuate our year, and I propose we explore them together, armed with the right information and the right mindset. I'll tell you everything about the upcoming planetary retrogrades and how to navigate these phases gracefully 😘.

Venus in Aries: Love that dares, desire that asserts itself

On March 6, 2026, Venus leaves the sensitive waters of Pisces to enter Aries: an immediate change of tempo. We shift from "I feel" to "I'm going for it". More honesty, more momentum, more fire in relationships, creativity, self-esteem... and even in how we spend money. A short, intense period that teaches us to choose — and to choose ourselves.

Mars in Pisces: When Courage Becomes Gentleness

Mars leaves the sign of Aquarius to dive into Pisces: starting March 2, 2026, your energy shifts rhythm — more intuitive than head-on. You act less to win and more to feel, create, heal, and love. In this very "Pisces" climate (Sun, Venus, and Mercury retrograde), inspiration rises… but so does the fog, and you'll need to keep your boundaries sharp. The Full Moon in Virgo on March 3 comes right on time to help you anchor your impulses in something concrete. An ideal period to turn an emotion into action, and a dream into a path.

Who Is The Most Intelligent Zodiac Sign, And Who Is The Dumbest?

Described as the secret of a person's success; intelligence is innate, but it can also be acquired through life experience. Some folks instinctively know how to react to situations, whereas others react based on lessons learned from the past. That said, what criteria are taken into account in order to qualify someone as clever or not? IQ? Grades? Or, their ability to learn from mistakes? Of course, these are all contributing factors, but astrology also needs to be considered too. We've ranked the zodiac signs by intelligence, so discover your place, because you may be in for a surprise!
