Mebahiah's message
“I did not come to make you perfect. I came to help you see clearly, to tell apart what is true from what is merely comfortable. When you hesitate between two roads, it is not courage you lack: it is light. That I can give you.”
“You carry a sense of duty that weighs on you some days. Do not mistake it for the demand to be beyond reproach. I ask you to be fair, not flawless. Do what is right, say what is true, and let the rest find its place.”

Mebahiah is an angel of feminine polarity. Tradition describes her as gentle and receptive, more inclined to illuminate than to rule. She is an angel of conscience: she does not punish a mistake, she shows the way back. Those who call on her rarely speak of a jolt — rather of a certainty that slowly settles in.
Mebahiah is the 55th sacred name of the Shem HaMephorash — the 72 divine names drawn by the kabbalists from three verses of Exodus (XIV, 19-21). Her Hebrew name מֵבֵהֵיָה is built on the trigram מבה (Mem-Beth-Hei), the fifty-fifth column of the grid, extended by the divine suffix -iah. It translates literally as “Eternal God”. Tradition also gives her the key “Child of God”: the one who stays connected to the source, whatever happens. The traditional call drawn from the Psalms reads: “But thou, O LORD, shalt endure for ever; and thy remembrance unto all generations.” (Psalm 102, v. 12).
Mebahiah belongs to the choir of the Principalities — the seventh of the nine choirs, placed under the authority of the Sephirah Netzach, “victory”, the momentum that persists. The Principalities do not watch over the individual first but over what binds people together: families, groups, nations, everything that stands upright thanks to shared rules. That explains her chosen ground, collective morality. Her ruling archangel is Haniel, whose name means “the Grace of God”. She shares this choir with seven other names, including her calendar neighbours Nithael (December 17th-21st) and Poyel (December 27th-31st).
Mebahiah's mission comes down to one verb: to discern. She protects against lies and hypocrisy — other people's, but above all the ones we tell ourselves. Where other angels grant strength, she grants clarity: the ability to name a situation as it truly is, without dressing it up.
She also works on speech. Mebahiah teaches the weight of words: their quality, their accuracy, their force when they are sincere. To the shy she returns the courage to speak, to the talkative the courage to stop. And because she watches over what lasts, she is readily called upon for long-term projects and for fertility — in the broadest sense: whatever takes root and bears fruit.
If Mebahiah is your protecting angel, know that she watches over you always, wherever you are. She may well decide to send you a message when she feels you need to hear it, by showing you a mirror hour. Stay alert 😉.

Natives under her influence share four traits that tradition attributes to her directly.
🔍
Analysis and reflection
A real ability to take a problem apart piece by piece before speaking. You rarely decide in the heat of the moment.
⚖️
Moral compass
You set an example without lecturing anyone. People come to you for advice because they know you will say things honestly.
🎨
Creativity
Mebahiah ties rigour to imagination. You find solutions where others see only a wall, and you enjoy giving your ideas a shape.
🤝
Commitment
A natural instinct for responsibility. When you commit, you can be counted on: that is your signature.
✦ ✦ ✦
You call on Mebahiah when the line goes blurry: when you no longer know whether you are following your conscience or your comfort, when a decision has been dragging on for weeks, when the words fail you just as you need to say what matters.
Her help does not come as a lucky break. It feels more like a veil falling: the situation does not change, your reading of it does. Many describe a life that settles afterwards — not because the problems vanished, but because they went back to their real size.
You can call on Mebahiah if:
✦ ✦ ✦
Mebahiah listens most closely on her annual regency days: March 2nd, May 14th, July 26th, October 7th, December 19th. During the day, her window is 6:00 pm-6:20 pm — that evening tipping point when you set down what you have been carrying. Nothing stops you calling her outside it: those born from December 22nd to 26th may pray to her every day.
Find twenty minutes of silence, screen-free, ideally seated. First put the real question into words — not the convenient one. If you can, light Sandalwood and Mastic incense. You may hold a Lapis Lazuli stone in your hand, the closest to her blue, to strengthen the link. Sincerity is what matters.
Prayer for the angel Mebahiah 🕯️
To summon Mebahiah, say this prayer with Sandalwood and Mastic incense:
“Angel Mebahiah, well-loved older sister!
“I distance myself from all negative, malicious and destructive thoughts, so that nothing can obstruct the path through which your grace comes to me.
“I impatiently wait, Lord, for your light, your benevolent help, so that I may carry out my long-term projects.”
Reciting this verse is an invocation in itself. It carries the Hebrew letters of Mebahiah's name according to kabbalistic tradition.
“But thou, O LORD, shalt endure for ever; and thy remembrance unto all generations.”
✦ ✦ ✦
Beyond the occasional invocation, here are simple practices to keep a continuous relationship with your guardian angel.
🕯 Her candle
A blue candle.
Best lit within her window of 6:00 pm-6:20 pm, or on her regency days.
💎 Her stone
Lapis Lazuli, the closest to her blue.
Wear it near the heart or hold it in your left hand while praying.
🌿 Her incense
Sandalwood and Mastic.
Burn it during invocations to raise the vibrations.
✍️ The simple ritual
Each morning, say her name three times and set an intention of uprightness for the day.
📆 Her days of power
March 2nd, May 14th, July 26th, October 7th, December 19th.
Days when her energy is at its most receptive.

Frequently asked questions about Mebahiah
Mebahiah is the 55th of the 72 guardian angels of the Kabbalah and the protector of people born between December 22nd and 26th, under the sign of Capricorn. She belongs to the choir of the Principalities, ruled by the archangel Haniel, and her domain is morality, inspiration and lucidity.
Her Hebrew name מֵבֵהֵיָה translates as “Eternal God”. It is formed from the trigram מבה (Mem-Beth-Hei), drawn from verses 19 to 21 of chapter XIV of Exodus, and the divine suffix -iah. Tradition also gives her the key “Child of God”.
Call on her when you have to decide and your sight goes cloudy. Fifteen minutes of silence, Sandalwood and Mastic incense, her prayer, and above all a question phrased honestly. She does not decide for you: she sheds light, and the choice stays yours.
Mebahiah reigns five times a year: on March 2nd, May 14th, July 26th, October 7th and December 19th. During the day, her window is 6:00 pm-6:20 pm.
Most often through synchronicities: a mirror hour caught just as you were turning your dilemma over, a sentence overheard that lands too accurately, or a feather left on your path. Nothing spectacular, but an insistence that eventually gets noticed.
