Lauviah's message
"I am Lauviah, the breath that watches over your sleep. When night wraps around you, I place in your dreams the answers the day denies you. Do not fear the darkness: it is only a passage toward your own light."
"I do not ask you to be strong, only to be sincere. Confide your fears, your doubts, your restless nights to me, and I will help you see clearly where everything once seemed confused. Your sensitivity is not a weakness: it is through it that I reach you."
✦ ✦ ✦
Lauviah is the angel of inner revelation. She is described as a gentle, feminine presence, turned toward the spiritual life, beauty and self-knowledge. She governs premonitory dreams and intuition — those subtle messages that reach us when the mind falls silent.
Lauviah is the seventeenth sacred name of the Shem HaMephorash — the 72 divine names the kabbalists drew from the three verses of Exodus (XIV, 19-21). Her Hebrew name לֵאוּ יַהּ translates literally as "admirable God", the one whose greatness can be read throughout Creation. Do not confuse her with Lauviah the eleventh, today called Lauvuel: they share the same vibratory root but watch over different periods. The traditional call drawn from the Psalms is: "O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!" (Psalm 8, v. 2).
Lauviah belongs to the choir of the Thrones — the transmitters of the light that makes hardship understandable, placed under the authority of the Sephirah Binah, that of deep understanding. She is the first of the eight. Her ruling archangel is Tsaphkiel (also called Binaël), guardian of contemplation and inner silence.
Her mission is to open consciousness to what lies beyond the visible, and to make the nights meaningful.
Lauviah accompanies those who are seeking their path. She soothes night terrors, cleanses the mind of its shadow zones and breathes faith into life when everything seems dark. To those she chooses, she gives the courage to move forward despite doubt and the strength to turn each ordeal into a step toward their life mission.
If Lauviah is your protective angel, know that she always watches over you, wherever you are. She may even decide to send you a message when she feels you need to hear it, reaching out through a mirror hour. Stay attentive 😉.

Lauviah listens especially closely on her annual days of regency: April 5, June 17, August 29, November 10 and January 22. During the day, she is most receptive between 5:20 and 5:40 AM. It is at dawn, in the silence that precedes the world's awakening, that she draws nearest.
Choose a quiet place where no one will disturb you. Settle in, breathe slowly and let the flow of your thoughts settle. If you can, light some Styrax and Electrum incense. You may hold a Chrysoprase stone in your hand to amplify the connection. What matters most is sincerity.
Prayer to the angel Lauviah 🕯️
To invoke Lauviah, say this prayer with Styrax incense:
"Angel Lauviah, angel of light, grant me the grace to see, to learn and to know all that is useful for my progression. Light up the areas of darkness and free me from my discouraging fears, from my torments. Give me the energy to move forward and guide those around me. Amen."
Reciting this verse is in itself an invocation. It carries the Hebrew letters of Lauviah's name according to the kabbalistic tradition.
"O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!"
