💌 Your angel has a message for you
Focus, turn over the cards, and discover what they want to tell you.
Some lives are built in the noise, others unfold in silence. Iah-Hel belongs to the second kind: he is the angel of those who need to withdraw in order to understand, and to fall quiet in order to hear clearly.
Wisdom, meditation, peace at home, bonds mended: that is his territory. Tradition calls him “the hermit of God”, and the name already says everything about the way he works — quietly, but deeply.
If you were born between 26 and 30 January, he has been your guardian since your very first day.
Iah-Hel is the guardian angel who protects people born between 26 and 30 January. His name means “Supreme God”, and the Kabbalah calls him the hermit of God: the one who lights up the mind of those willing to stop for a moment.

Iah-Hel's message
“You think you need answers. What you need first is silence. Withdraw for an hour, for a day, for as long as it takes: what you are looking for is not further away, it is further down, underneath the noise you carry everywhere with you.”
“I will not bring you victory, I will bring you clarity. And once you see clearly, you will know what to say to the person you lost sight of, and which small gesture is enough to bring peace back into your home. Start by sitting down.”
✦ ✦ ✦
Iah-Hel is the angel of the wise and of the solitary. Where other guardians push you into action, he invites you to step back — not to run away, but because he knows that intelligence needs quiet in order to work. Tradition makes him the protector of philosophers, researchers, teachers, and of all those who withdraw from the world the better to understand it.
Iah-Hel is the 62nd sacred name of the Shem HaMephorash — the 72 divine names drawn by the kabbalists from the three verses of Exodus (XIV, 19-21). His Hebrew name יההאל joins the trigram יהה to the divine suffix אל, and translates literally as “Supreme God”. He is also given the key “the hermit of God”, in memory of those who looked for the divine in the desert rather than in the temple. The traditional call taken from the Psalms is: “Consider how I love thy precepts: quicken me, O Lord, according to thy lovingkindness.” (Psalm 119, v. 159).
Iah-Hel belongs to the choir of the Archangels — the messengers who carry knowledge from one world to another — placed under the authority of the Sephirah Hod, the sphere of right speech and humility. This choir does not command: it transmits. Its ruling archangel is Michael, prince of the heavenly host, who gives his eight angels the strength to speak the truth without wounding.
His mission fits into one word: to illuminate. Iah-Hel does not solve your problems for you, he clears away the fog that keeps you from seeing them as they are. Those he protects often describe the same experience — a decision that looked impossible becomes obvious after a few minutes of real silence.
He also works on bonds. He is the angel of quiet reunions: the brother you no longer call, the friend you lost sight of, the couple who started raising their voices so as to stop listening. Iah-Hel brings back measure where pride had taken up all the room, and gives a home its calm again. His neighbour in the choir, Umabel, watches over the five days just before his own.
If Iah-Hel is your protecting angel, know that he is always watching over you, wherever you are. He may well decide to send you a message if he feels you need to hear it, by showing you a mirror hour — his own is 8:20 pm. Stay attentive 😉.

✦ ✦ ✦
Living under Iah-Hel's protection means watching four abilities grow, all of them pointing the same way: understand before you act.
🦉
Wisdom
Not knowledge piled up, but discernment: knowing when to speak, when to wait, when to let time do its work.
🧘
Meditation
A rare ease at emptying the mind. His protégés find in a few breaths a calm that others chase for months.
🕊️
Peace at home
A talent for settling a household, defusing an argument with one word, making the air breathable without raising his voice.
✨
Humility
The modesty that draws people in without trying to please, and that guards against vanity as much as against the need to be seen.
✦ ✦ ✦
Iah-Hel is called upon when the mind races. He does not bring elation, he brings the return to calm: that state where you stop going round in circles and things go back to their real size.
Tradition credits him with precise protection against everything that scatters us — vanity, a taste for luxury, quarrels, jealousy, inconstancy. Five ways the ego has of pulling us away from the essential, and which Iah-Hel patiently undoes, one after the other.
You can call upon Iah-Hel if:
✦ ✦ ✦
Iah-Hel listens most closely on his annual days of rulership: 21 May, 2 August, 14 October, 26 December and 9 March. Within the day, he is most receptive between 8:20 pm and 8:40 pm, that evening hour when a house settles down of its own accord. Nothing forbids calling him at another time: these windows make the meeting easier, they are not a condition for it.
Choose a room where nobody will come looking for you, lower the light and leave your phone elsewhere. If you can, burn some Mastic incense, that pale, dry resin which suits exercises in attention. You may hold a Crystal stone in your hand to strengthen the link. What matters most is sincerity.
Prayer to the angel Iah-Hel 🕯️
To invoke Iah-Hel, say this prayer with Mastic incense:
“Iah-Hel!
“Bring me to life, Lord!
“Let the current of Your Thought flow through my mind and renew it.
“Let the beating of my heart keep time with the beating of Your Heart.
“May my gesture be Your Gesture, may my word be Your Word.
“Angel Iah-Hel, let the masculine and the feminine take their rightful places within me; and do not let my exalted imagination lead me to crave any luxury other than that of understanding the wonderful Machine of the World that the Eternal created.
“Find me, Angel Iah-Hel, a dwelling where I may exalt You and celebrate You, a place where I can keep a permanent connection with You, so as to receive the gifts and powers You are willing to grant me, which will make of me a fulfilled being, free in spirit and ready to fly towards the Heights of Spirituality.
“Amen!”
Reciting this verse is an invocation in itself. According to the kabbalistic tradition it carries the Hebrew letters of Iah-Hel's name.
“Consider how I love thy precepts: quicken me, O Lord, according to thy lovingkindness.”
