Hahasiah is the fifty-first sacred name of the Shem HaMephorash — the 72 divine names drawn by the kabbalists from three verses of Exodus (XIV, 19-21). Her Hebrew name הַחֲשִׁיָּה, built on the trigram He-Chet-Shin (ה-ח-ש) and the divine suffix -iah, is translated in the angelic tradition as “Hidden God”. Tradition also gives her the key “Beatific vision”: the one who lets you see what was concealed. The traditional call drawn from the Psalms is: “The glory of the LORD shall endure for ever: the LORD shall rejoice in his works.” (Psalm 104, v. 31).

Her place in the angelic hierarchy

Hahasiah belongs to the choir of Principalities — the seventh angelic order, the one watching over peoples and vocations, placed under the authority of the Sephira Netzach, victory and perseverance. Principalities don't treat a symptom: they put a life back on its axis. Her ruling archangel is Haniel, keeper of grace and of everything that links the human to the divine. She comes straight after the angel Daniel, master of the right word, and just before the angel Imamiah, guardian of respect and freedom.

Her spiritual mission

Hahasiah's mission is healing — in the widest sense, the one that includes the body, the life story and the bonds between people. She is the angel of medicine and of the sciences of matter: tradition credits her with the knowledge of plants, minerals and the chemistry of the living, and with the secret of what the ancients called the universal medicine.

In practice, she works on origins. Where others treat a pain, she shows what built it: a habit, an unfinished grief, an old wound that never quite closed. She is also the angel of carers: she is said to stand close to doctors, nurses and therapists, and to guide the surgeon's hand during an operation. Finally, she makes the people she protects very hard to fool — a sixth sense that spots a manipulator long before anyone else does.

Hahasiah listens most closely on her annual regency days: May 10, July 22, October 3, December 15, February 26. Within the day, she is most receptive between 4:40 pm and 5:00 pm. It is the hollow hour of the afternoon, when the body tires: it suits her well.

How to prepare

Settle in a quiet room, sitting, back straight, and place your hand where it hurts — for yourself, or thinking of the person you want to help. Light sandalwood and benzoin incense if you can. You may hold an emerald in your hand to strengthen the link. What matters is sincerity.
