Hahasiah's message

“You are looking for a cure, and I am handing you a lamp. What hurts you today began long before today: look at it once, calmly, straight on. You will see it was never as big as you feared.”

“I don't spare you the pain, I teach you to walk through it without losing yourself in it. And when you feel better, you will know how to heal someone else — that is how I work, from hand to hand.”

Who is the angel Hahasiah?

Hahasiah is the angel of hidden causes. The people she protects are perceptive, intelligent and remarkably open-minded; they sense what others keep quiet and they bear pain better than most. Emotions, friendship and love take up an immense place in their lives — sometimes the whole of it.

The origin of the name Hahasiah

Hahasiah is the fifty-first sacred name of the Shem HaMephorash — the 72 divine names drawn by the kabbalists from three verses of Exodus (XIV, 19-21). Her Hebrew name הַחֲשִׁיָּה, built on the trigram He-Chet-Shin (ה-ח-ש) and the divine suffix -iah, is translated in the angelic tradition as “Hidden God”. Tradition also gives her the key “Beatific vision”: the one who lets you see what was concealed. The traditional call drawn from the Psalms is: “The glory of the LORD shall endure for ever: the LORD shall rejoice in his works.” (Psalm 104, v. 31).

Her place in the angelic hierarchy

Hahasiah belongs to the choir of Principalities — the seventh angelic order, the one watching over peoples and vocations, placed under the authority of the Sephira Netzach, victory and perseverance. Principalities don't treat a symptom: they put a life back on its axis. Her ruling archangel is Haniel, keeper of grace and of everything that links the human to the divine. She comes straight after the angel Daniel, master of the right word, and just before the angel Imamiah, guardian of respect and freedom.

Her spiritual mission

Hahasiah's mission is healing — in the widest sense, the one that includes the body, the life story and the bonds between people. She is the angel of medicine and of the sciences of matter: tradition credits her with the knowledge of plants, minerals and the chemistry of the living, and with the secret of what the ancients called the universal medicine.

In practice, she works on origins. Where others treat a pain, she shows what built it: a habit, an unfinished grief, an old wound that never quite closed. She is also the angel of carers: she is said to stand close to doctors, nurses and therapists, and to guide the surgeon's hand during an operation. Finally, she makes the people she protects very hard to fool — a sixth sense that spots a manipulator long before anyone else does.

If Hahasiah is your protecting angel, know that she is always watching over you, wherever you are. She may well decide to send you a message when she feels you need to hear it, by showing you a mirror hour. Stay alert 😉.

The qualities Hahasiah awakens

Under her protection, four strengths wake up — all of them turned towards care, your own as much as other people's.

🌿
The healing touch

Your hands, your voice, your presence soothe. People feel better after talking to you, and you don't always know why.

🔬
A thirst to understand

A subject resists you? You don't let go. Hahasiah awakens patient intelligence, the kind that ends up seeing the mechanism.

🛡️
Discernment

Pretence doesn't get past you. You feel a hypocrite coming from the first sentence: uncomfortable, but it protects you.

🤲
Selflessness

You can bear pain — yours, and a little of everyone else's. The lesson is learning not to carry all of it.

Why call on the guardian angel Hahasiah?

People call on Hahasiah when something hurts and nobody can say where it comes from. Before an operation, during a recovery that drags on, in the middle of medical tests that come back inconclusive.

Her answer is rarely spectacular. It looks like pain loosening its grip, like one sentence from a doctor that suddenly explains everything, like the sudden urge to change a habit that had been wearing you down for years. She performs no miracle: she shows the road to healing, and you walk it.

You can call on Hahasiah if:

  • You are facing surgery or you are in pain: chronic pain, back and lower-back trouble, a long recovery; she accompanies the carer's gesture and softens the ordeal.
  • You want to understand where an illness comes from: a disorder that always returns at the same moment, unexplained exhaustion, an old wound that never closed.
  • You care for others: doctor, nurse, therapist, or simply looking after a sick relative — she supports those who give, and keeps them from emptying themselves.
  • A body of knowledge resists you: studies, an exam, a subject too vast; she awakens understanding and a taste for the sciences.

Replace my coldness with the Lord's worship: do not cease to protect me until he leads me to heaven, where we will praise God together for all eternity.”
