Money has a bad name in the world of angels. Anauel says the opposite: there is no shame in wanting the means to live, only in how you come by them. His name means “God infinitely good”, and his traditional prayer asks for something strange and beautiful — that gold be turned into light.
If you were born between 31 January and 4 February, he has been your guardian since day one.

Anauel's message
“You think you have to choose: be honest, or have the means. That is not true, and what I have come to teach you is closer to the reverse. What you earn cleanly, you keep; what you snatch, you lose twice over.”
“Do not ask me for luck, ask me for good sense. I whisper the right word when you are negotiating, caution when you were going too fast, health enough to last the distance. And when you have enough, remember that money standing still serves no one: keep it moving, that is where it becomes light.”
✦ ✦ ✦
Anauel is the angel of straight dealing. He is often called the angel of administrators, or of negotiators, but those titles describe him poorly. His speciality is not wealth: it is fairness in exchange — knowing what a thing is worth, what you may ask, what you owe. He governs money the way one governs a river, caring above all that it keeps flowing.
Anauel is the sixty-third sacred name of the Shem HaMephorash — the 72 divine names drawn by the Kabbalists from the three verses of Exodus (XIV, 19-21). His Hebrew name עַנַּוְאֵל translates literally as “God infinitely good”. Tradition also gives him the key “God's juggler”, an image that surprises: the juggler is the one who handles and passes from hand to hand — exactly the gesture of exchange. The traditional invocation formula from the Psalms is: “Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.” (Psalm 2, v. 11).
Anauel belongs to the choir of the Archangels — the eighth choir, the bearers of knowledge, placed under the authority of the Sephira Hod, glory and splendour. These angels make knowledge usable: they do not merely reveal, they teach you how to put it to work. His ruling archangel is Michael, commander of the heavenly host, the one who weighs souls and decides between what is right and what is false. His tutelary planet, Mercury, says the rest: trade, speech, agility.
To make abundance compatible with conscience. Anauel does not enrich just anyone in any manner: he gives the good sense that guards against waste, the composure to negotiate without lying, and the health without which none of it stands up. Those he protects know how to manage — and, above all, know what their managing is for.
You recognise them by how easily they connect: they make ties everywhere, and those ties end up opening doors. Practical rather than theoretical intelligence, quiet rationality, a courage that makes no noise — very little truly frightens them, because they are used to assessing before fearing. Anauel also shields them from accidents, at work as on the road, and watches their health with an almost medical attention.
If Anauel is your protecting angel, know that he watches over you always, wherever you are. He may well decide to send you a message when he feels you need to hear it, by pointing you towards a mirror hour. Pay attention 😉.

✦ ✦ ✦
Those he accompanies do not become rich by miracle; they become hard to ruin. Here are the four gifts he works on first.
💰
Honest abundance
Earning without dirtying your hands. Anauel shows the path where profit and integrity do not exclude one another — and it nearly always exists.
🤝
A feel for exchange
Knowing your worth and what you are asking. His protégés negotiate well because they listen before they speak.
🧭
Good sense
The quietest gift, and the most valuable: the one that stops you squandering your money, your time and your energy.
🌿
Health
He watches the body as closely as the accounts, and turns aside accidents as much as illness.
✦ ✦ ✦
People rarely call him to dream: they call him before a meeting, a signature, a decision that commits money. He is a very concrete angel, almost down to earth, and that is precisely his strength.
Many report the same thing after praying to him: the hoped-for sum did not fall from the sky, but they saw clearly. A clause they had not read, a counterpart finally understood, an outlay avoided by a whisker. Anauel works on discernment rather than on luck — and the result eventually shows up in the account.
You can call on Anauel if:
✦ ✦ ✦
Anauel listens especially closely on his annual regency days: 22 May, 3 August, 15 October, 27 December and 10 March. Within the day, he is most receptive between 8:40 pm and 9:00 pm. The slot falls well: it is the hour when the day's business is closed and you can finally look at your accounts — the real ones and the private ones — without telling yourself stories.
Choose a moment when nobody is waiting on you, and set in front of you, if you can, the object of your request: a quote, a statement, a letter. Light mastic incense if possible. You may hold a piece of amber in your hand to strengthen the link. What matters most is sincerity.
Prayer to the angel Anauel 🕯️
To call on Anauel, say this prayer with mastic incense:
“Angel Anauel!
“Allow me, Lord, to pursue my spiritual and material objectives.
“Let me place my means at the service of a human society, fraternal and united.
“May everything inside me function as it does in heaven, so that the harmony within me, and in my behaviour, arouses a desire for emulation in others.
“Grant me, Angel Anauel, common sense, so that not one droplet of the power you give me is lost in futile and vain actions.
“Anauel!
“I want to be the perfect steward of wealth that you represent in heaven.
“Make me sense or carry out the right investments, so that my gold swiftly turns into light.
“Amen!”
Reciting this verse is an invocation in itself. It carries the Hebrew letters of Anauel's name according to Kabbalistic tradition.
“Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.”

Frequently asked questions about Anauel
Anauel is the 63rd of the 72 guardian angels of the Kabbalistic tradition. He belongs to the choir of the Archangels, under the rule of Archangel Michael, and watches over people born between 31 January and 4 February. He is known as the angel of fair dealing: his mission is to make abundance compatible with honesty, and to guard the health of those he accompanies.
His Hebrew name עַנַּוְאֵל translates as “God infinitely good”. Tradition also gives him the key “God's juggler”, the one who keeps things moving and connects them. It is built on the trigram ענו, drawn from the three verses of Exodus that make up the Shem HaMephorash, to which the divine suffix אל is added.
Anauel reigns five times a year: on 22 May, 3 August, 15 October, 27 December and 10 March. Every day he also governs the slot from 8:40 pm to 9:00 pm, the most favourable moment to bring him a request.
Anauel is the so-called “birth” guardian angel of people who came into the world between 31 January and 4 February, under the sign of Aquarius. He may also be your angel of the heart or of the intellect, depending on your birth time: only the full calculation of the three angels can tell.
Through very material coincidences: an opportunity that lands at the right moment, an unexpected repayment, a professional encounter that changes what follows. He is also fond of clock synchronicities, especially around 8:40 pm, and of amber turning up in front of you for no reason.
