Caliel's message
"I am the breath that clears the fog. When you no longer know where the truth lies, call on me: I lay a quiet light over your situation and, little by little, what is right becomes clear to you. You don't have to understand everything at once — you only have to stay honest with yourself."
"Fear neither slander nor injustice. I walk beside you like a discreet shield: I loosen the knots of anguish in your heart and give your conscience back its calm. Seek the truth without harshness, and you will see that it always sets you free."
✦ ✦ ✦
Caliel is the angel of absolute truth and divine justice. He is said to reign over the court of conscience: he helps you tell right from wrong, see beyond appearances, and make honest judgements without being corrupted by fear or flattery.
Caliel is the 18th sacred name of the Shem HaMephorash — the 72 divine names drawn by the kabbalists from the three verses of Exodus (XIV, 19-21). His Hebrew name כליאל literally translates as "God who is quick to help". He also carries the key of "God's Judgement", a justice that repairs more than it condemns. The traditional call from the Psalms is: "The Lord judges the peoples; do me justice, O Most High, according to my righteousness and my integrity." (Psalm 7, v.9).
Caliel belongs to the choir of the Thrones — the transmitters of the light that helps us understand life's trials, placed under the authority of the Sephirah Binah, "Understanding". It is the choir that teaches the soul to make sense of what it goes through. His ruling archangel is Tsaphkiel (also called Binael), the guardian of contemplation and inner depth.
Caliel's mission is to make innocence triumph and to protect all those who seek the truth. He is especially close to judges, magistrates and lawyers, but also to anyone facing an injustice, an accusation or a difficult choice. He is, in a way, our invisible shield against slander, jealousy and quarrels.
But Caliel is not only a defender of justice: he is also an emotional healer. He unties the knots of stress and anguish lodged in the soul, helps release buried emotions and express your thoughts with honesty and gentleness. To call on Caliel is to recover a peaceful heart and a clear conscience.
If Caliel is your protecting angel, know that he always watches over you, wherever you are. He may decide to send you a message when he feels you need to hear it, by reaching out to you through a mirror hour. Stay attentive 😉.
✦ ✦ ✦
